What is HisCoM-Kernel?

Hierarchical structural CoMponent analysis using Kernel (HisCoM-Kernel) is a novel statistical approach for modeling nonlinear associations between biomarkers and phenotype by extending the Kernel machine regression.

HisCoM-Kernel is based on the PHARAOH for the pathway analysis of rare variants [Lee et al., 2016]

HisCoM-Kernel can identify pathways associated with the binary phenotype.

HisCoM-Kernel uses various Kernel functions such as Gaussian, polynomial, and linear Kernels to model association between biomarkers and the phenotype. It is so flexible that it can be applied to various omics data.

HisCoM-Kernel software is written by C/C++ and R.
